Denny Diamond and The Jewels is a well-known band from the Chicago area that specializes in playing the hits of legendary singer Neil Diamond. A show the entire family will enjoy featuring the words and music of Neil Diamond along with several songs by Ricky Nelson and Jim Croce. Denny and the Jewels enjoy interacting with the audience! Denny has been charming audiences all across the country and overseas with his impressive baritone voice and cheerful stage presence, for many years and sounding better than ever. An amazing young rock band from the Chicago area ranging in age from 13 to 15. Although they are young they have been around for 6 years and have talent beyond their years, they play songs most bands don’t even attempt. They’ve played to packed audiences at festivals like Naperville’s Ribfest and Last Fling, Toronto’s NXNE, Andersonville’s Midsummarfest and Taste of Lakeview and venues like the House of Blues, Hard Rock in Chicago and Memphis, the Chicago Theater and The Arcada in St. Charles as well as appearing on the WGN Morning News three years in a row. They have performed and raised funds in support of various organizations including Lazarus House in St. Charles, Lurie Children’s Hospital, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Opportunity House in Sycamore and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
In addition to their originals they cover the classics as well from rock icons like Led Zeppelin, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Guns n Roses, Living Colour, Nirvana, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica.
